and banking.

Whether it's event marketing, media buying,
cross-promotions, a grand opening, or simply
positioning and growing your business, let him
put his experience to work for you.

Here are some of the successes...

Event Marketing:

Coordination of the Frattallone Ace Hardware Garage Makeover
Contest, helping them celebrate the Grand Opening of their New
Hope, MN store.  This included customized signage, multi-store
contesting, and radio promotion.

When the Brainerd Jaycee's 2003 Ice Fishing Extravaganza took place
on Gull Lake in Brainerd, there was a cross-promotion with a
convenience store to serve hot coffee from Freedom Valu Centers to
10,000 contestants, plus live radio commercials, and state-wide
promotion of the event.

Walker Roofing put together a terrific traffic-builder at the St. Paul
Home and Patio Show…teamed up with Sun Country Airlines…we
concepted a putting green made out of roof trusses…and coordinated
live radio commercials, putting for prizes, and trip giveaway to really
drive show-goers to the Walker Roofing booth.

Tiziani Golf Cars had a one-day golf car sale at Prestwick Golf Course
in Woodbury.  Part of the event was a pancake breakfast fund raiser
for the Woodbury High School Golf Teams, partnering Sturdiwheat
Pancakes and Von Hansen Meats.  Results far exceeded
expectations for this one-day event, which was promoted through
direct mail, radio, and newspaper.

Manufacturer-funded Marketing Programs:

Cub Foods participated in a 16-week integrated marketing program in
St. Cloud called the Cub Foods Stadium Club.  Each week proof-of-
purchase of 2 products were redeemable for custom water bottles,
seat cushions, deli trays, and insulated koozie bags.  14 vendors
participated.

Red Rooster Auto Stores teamed up with Thunder Alley Indoor
Speedway and their vendors to offer a 4-week in-store sales
program.  Customers received discount admission tickets when they
bought designated auto parts at Red Rooster.  It culminated with live
radio broadcast and live go-cart racing from Thunder Alley.

Cashwise Grocery Store was tied in to country female singer Trisha
Yearwood’s concert through a 5-week in-store program.  Over 20
grocery vendors participated in this promotion designed to increase
store traffic, generate consumer awareness, and increase sales for
participating vendors.  Turnkey promotion included custom signage,
radio price-point ads, and on-site prize registration.

The Byerly’s Buy-A-Thon was an in-store program sponsorship of a
St. Cloud Wheels, Wings and Water Festival Five-Mile run.  17
vendors participated to fund this program, which included weekly
featured products, radio, display space, and in-store print
supplements.

Big Bear created a 6-week sales event designed to increase store
traffic at 4 locations in Central Minnesota, generate consumer
awareness, and increase sales for 14 participating vendors.
Because Big Bear remains community oriented, a portion of the sales
went to purchase teddy “Big Bears” to give to children who had been
crime or accident victims.  Promotional components included in-store
display, in-store print supplements, and price-point radio ads.

Tobacco Grove is continuing a monthly in-store sales promotion, with
a cigar-of-the-month, funded through their vendors.  This program is a
combination of radio, in-store signage, and internet marketing.  Web
traffic is up considerably, and in-store sales spikes each month on
the featured cigar.

Sam’s Club celebrated 4 years in St. Cloud with a chance for
members to register to win family 4-packs of tickets to great summer
events, like Valleyfair, the Minnesota Twins, State Fair concerts and
Wisconsin Dells.  The in-store event was designed to increase new
membership…10 vendors participated…and elements included
radio, in-store print supplements, in-store display, and prize
registration.
